Minister Attaf attends the 45th session of the AU Executive Council in Accra

Assigned by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, arrived on Wednesday in Accra, Ghana, to participate in the 45th Executive Council of the African Union (AU), slated for 18-19 July.

Following the ministerial meeting, the 6th Coordination Summit between the AU, Regional Economic Communities (RECs) and Regional Mechanisms will be held on 21 July.

The ministerial session’s agenda includes examining multiple financial and administrative matters related to the AU’s internal management, issues of partnerships established by the continental organization with various international actors, its G20 membership, furthering the activation of common African action mechanisms and preparing the upcoming continental and international events.

On the sidelines of the ministerial meeting, Attaf will hold bilateral meetings with several of his African counterparts.
